Sandgate..

After a trip to the airport to see my aunt & uncle off (they're away to live in Singapore), we headed out to Sandgate on Brisbane's northside. Sandgate reminds me of an Irish seaside town and is well known in Brisbane for its great views of Moreton Bay. Its jetty is a short stroll along the foreshore and it is a popular place for families, walkers, cyclists etc. What's also well known about Sandgate is Doug's Seafood Cafe which resides on Flinders Parade. Doug does great fish (recommend the snapper) & chips and if the portions don't ground you for the afternoon, the coffee and deserts are delish too! :)
