After 7 weeks of uni the nice people at QIBT have given us a break :) So I've a week off starting tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it! And Ekka has got under way in Brisbane. Ekka is a huge 10-day event held annually with attractions including fairground rides, animal parades, wood chopping competitions, agricultural displays and equestrian events. Basically Funderland on speed!! :) It's Brisbane's biggest event and because of it, the 16th (Wed) is a public holiday.
