Greek festival..

Fun and relaxing day was had today at the Greek festival in Bundall (Gold Coast). Lots of nice Greek food and Aussie beer was consumed and I tried octopus for the first time (honest!) and it's very nice.

The festival is one of music, dancing and food and is an annual event in Bundall. The weather today was fab with it hitting high 20's at one stage. Below is how the Gold Coast City Council's website describe today's event:

"Imbibe the delectable aromas of fresh cooked Greek food, lively sounds of Bouzoukia and lots of dancing at the Gold Coast Greek Festival.For the 5th year running the Gold Coast Greek Community, who will host the event, will offer non-stop entertainment and family fun with traditional Greek dances, a live Greek band, lots of children's amusements and extraordinary food and cultural exhibitions."
