Hard to believe I'm already a week in Australia!
Good first week and the weather has been brill. Queensland (QLD) is in the middle of a drought at the moment so the state is praying for rain - its forecast for this wkd and there was some rain showers tonight in Karana Downs (where I'm living).
It's a long wkd in QLD so we're off to the Gold Coast on Sunday for a couple of days. Monday (12th) is a public holiday for the Queen's birthday. Thanks Liz! :)
